I do not know which is better, but I absolutely know your Kubota frustration.  I have replaced that brake switch and I can't say here on the FF what I thought.  I did squish some grease into the connection to try to prevent future moisture intrusion.  So far, so good.

It's not at the bottom of the Home page, but at the bottom of the forum Index page.  Scroll down and For Sale is under the Commerce banner and How to Post Photos is at the bottom of the page under the Forum Help banner.

Both contain everything that you need including the "Terms".

Take a right off the gravel road, go down a rocky forest road until you hit a FS gate and then another mile.
Not the first one of these I've found or marked. Had a few arguments/ conversations with the FS guys about it, one guy told me I shouldn't have marked it because it's a future crop tree. No, it's a crop tree right now. No way that tree is standing in another 20 years. Might not be standing by the time they get the sale out with their pokey timelines.

Edit: Pic was just taken a couple days ago.

Very frustrating. Why can't I find anything about "for sale" at the bottom of the "Home page", and where do I find info on "terms"?

Any chance your camera saved the GPS info when that picture was taken?  Asking for a friend.  ffcheesy

Backhoes have sorta been ignored/obsoleted by fiber optic contractors, etc.  The minis are so much more versatile digging handholes and receiving pits.

As a result, larger and more powerful backhoes are available and they are much better adapt for handling logs.  The front hydraulics are much stronger than a farm tractor plus the backhoe provides the rear weight.

My old backhoe, Fat Albert, did not know his own strength and never ran above an idle.

My moulder and planer each have a 14' infeed and 14' outfeed table, skate rollers for 10' and pipe rollers for 4' closest to the machine.  Life is a whole lot easier when you can drop a 16' piece of lumber on the infeed and walk away.

Jersey cow with a bull calf at her side.  No safety switches to worry about and the calf will be better eating than the Kubota.  ffcheesy

I might be able to add something to this discussion. I have a backhoe, a small one- Kubota B26- and an excavator- a Takeuchi TB260. At just under 14k the Takeuchi is able to move much larger logs than the 25hp backhoe, even though it has 3rd function hydraulics up front and a hydraulic thumb on the hoe. If the Kubota will handle the log it's what I use, and it surprises everyone who sees it work. It's much faster than the mini, but the mini will tote about 5k+ as oppsed to 1.4k for the Kubota. The mini will also be used more for property upgrades such as ditching and grading for drainage. The one attachment I really want for the mini is an adapter to use skid steer attachments. That will allow me to use my grapple, forks and 4-in-1 bucket to do so much more than possible with either machine now. A larger backhoe would do most of what I do, so that might be my choice for a do-it-all machine, but I really like the cab and a/c in the mini. Good luck with your research and choice.
