Coxy we got about 6 inches the last I checked I haven't looked outside since I got home though haha it definitely wasn't fun working today we just worked a fairly short day. Yeh that's a saying I use a lot aswell I first heard it from my grandfather he said that to me when I was helping him take off truck rims that were rusted on I laughed pretty hard when he said it! riverlogger it is a 150 boom on a old 110 frame it works pretty well though not aswell as a true 150 you have to be careful cause the boom has so much power and the frame and outriggers aren't that rugged but for a cheap loader its loaded a lot of wood! Is that the 230 you posted some pics about? And what is the 150 mounted on those should make you a nice setup!

Here she is. I had a 180 years ago and an old H model but never have even sat on a 150. I purchased the 230 (the 230 needs the engine rebuilt) The 150 loader and a cutter/buncher head from an old clark skidsteer that I intend to use on my cat 246B. I paid $7500.00 for all 3 pieces.

Oh by the way the 150 is mounted on a trailer frame that was built from a COE ford 800. It is now a pintle hook trailer.

Yeh i have never used a 150 either ive run a 180 that the local log yard has aswell as a 325 with a slasher which was fun btw made 8ft pulp easy! How did you like your H my grandfather picked one up a few years ago and we have been meaning to mount it on something. That looks like a nice old loader and that sounds like a good price for the 3 pieces of equipment around here the 230 with the blown motor would go for close to that alone! What are you going to pull the loader with?

For now I will be pulling the 150 behind this little truck we just finished building up. It has the 6.6 turbo diesel engine with a strait 5 speed trans. I also have a tag along tandem axle dual wheel 24' flat deck beaver tail trailer I plan to haul the 230 on. Its rated at 20k so it should handle it with no problem.

As for the H it was awesome. It was mounted on an old rugged 750 ford. It was powered by a honkin 453 that somebody had over powered her with. It had a homemade heel and we loaded tree length X3 loads a day with her for over a year. For the bigger tree length we would have to push the log on up on the trailer with the skidder from the rear as an assist but for #7 chip/saw it was a little man. I think the key to them being so strong is absolutely no check valves, hence most of the surviving machines having broken/welded booms and turn cylinder housings.

That's a nice looking truck and logs! With the skidder loader and the truck it looks like you have a good setup! Yeh the guy that we bought the H model off said it was rugged they loaded mostly logs and 4ft pulp with it so its not broke up and it hasn't been used for about 20 years so if we ever get around to putting it on a different truck it should make a good rig
