Largest log milled with my Lucas Mill

Today I had a 8000 lb log that my fork lift wouldn't lift so I had to roll it into place (4 hours to move it 100ft) When I started to mill it first cut I hit two lags,so much for my $165.00 new Lucas blade. Glad I found a good new saw doc.

Big log. Got a metal detector so it doesn't become a more expensive, big log?

Blade wont cost $165 to repair. Still hurts it's brand new though >:(

Not so bad it the tips are 3/4 worn, and it's due for a rebuild anyway. But of course that's not the blade you find metal with :D

Pity about ya blade, but a quick retip should have ya back soon - remember no-one ever uses just one nail/screw in a tree... ;)

Hey did you get another bandsaw mill?
I'm going to use a timberking in Ben Lomond tomorrow,never been round a hydraulic mill,think it maybe for sale soon.
