60cc, 3.1 kW, made 1986 - 1997, according to Acres site.
Thanks Saw Troll...I had gathered that info awhile back...I got Acres site bookmarked.
By the way...remember that little Husky 242xp I asked you about a while back?
I sold to a guy on Craiglist.

I contacted him about 2 weeks ago and asked did he ever get it running? After hesitating and stuttering for a minute he finally mutters;"yeah!"
I asked him how much did it cost you...he said a little over $450 bucks, BUT its the best limbing saw ever made!!! ::) 15,500 RPMS's BUDDY!! lol
Perhaps he will "enshrine it!!! :D

That's exactly what a 242xp is about - a stellar limbing saw!   :)

...but that was a costly fix....
Information collector.

I won't part with my 116si. Two pulls or less and it's eating!!
120si parts interchange with it; same stroke.

Travis, I hear ya! My saw Guru friend...says that the 16" bar is too small for it in his opinion because the power it has! I use to really miss my Stihl 034, but from everything I read this saw runs circles around it...of course it does have almost 4 cc's more and a tad less RPM's.
But...I'll see here in the long run...what bar would you run?

It does run circles around my 034. Both have the same bore but the 116 has 2 more mm on stroke over the 034.
I use it mostly or my 260 Pro.

I like the 20" bar for the 116si.

My 116si is the only saw I ever bought new. Outstanding rig. I run a 20" 3/8 on mine IIRC. Great saw, all my Sachs are great saws in fact.

Well guys here is the Sachs Dolmar !16si with a new 20' bar & Stihl RSC.
My Chainsaw Guru...found this brand new never used Winsdor Speed Tip underneath some other discarded bars...still in it's sheath and give hin $40 bucks for it and the a loop of chisel chain...and hauled my hips outta there to my woodpile and quickly amassed a ton pecan & hickory blocks for my smoker! ;D

This is a very impressive saw...I'm kinda wondering is it as stout as my MS 390?...although the 390 has about 4 more cc's...it feels every bit as strong...BUT...I've yet to sink into BIG WOOD...like Hedge, Black Locust, or some Pin Oak!  ;)
Thanks for all the starting/cranking advice...the on/off switch is broke and I was not engaging the trigger on starting...and I was also choking it out!
Not Anymore...Cranks on 1 Pull 8) 8) BTW....where can I find an off/on switch??

You might start with sponsor chainsawr (click on left bar). Have heard good reports for parts from him.
