Anyone have any good or bad feedback?  On sale at Bailey's.  Might give them a go.  Last pair of calks only lasted me about 7 months, Swede pro's.  Extremely comfortable just didn't hold up.  Thanks.

I bought a pair. Well made boot, but the steel toe killed my feet. I gave them to a young fella that helps me. Going to get another pair of Whites or Hawthorns. Ed

Have had a pair for about 4 years now. Well worn but holding up well.

I have a pair of the non-steel toe ones, pretty tough boot that has held up well.

I bought a pair of Bailey's lace to toe redawgs in 2006. They are doing ok after 1 resole job. I have worn them a lot. I think they are made by Wesco. I would buy them again.

WOW!  Thanks for all the replies.  Guess I will be ordering a pair.  Are they true to size?  That is the one thing about not being able to try stuff on.

Bailey's has always been good about taking boots back for another pair if they haven't been worn outside. I assume they still are, I know a lot of changes have taken place in recent months.
I've got 2 pair of lace to toe Reddawg's, and a pair of lace to toe Reddawg calks. My opinion is that they are a very good boot for the money. I'll keep wearing them as long as the quality holds up.

i'm happy with my lace to toe non steel toe red dawg caulks,  have not worn then a whole lot, but they fit good.  they are not very warm when its cold, as should be expected from non insulated leather boots
Boy, back in my day..

I have the lace -to -toe non steel, very good boot for the money, true to size!

Thanks again for the feedback.  I'm going to order up a pair.

You've already made up yer mind, but I'm on my second season with them.  The calks that is.  They have held up really well and I don't take it easy on them. I'm in them at least 25-30 hours per week. In the winter time I wear Hoffmans pac calks.  This will be the third season on those coming up.

I just bought a pair of Hathorns. I have worn Hathorns or Whites for years. Tried the Red Dawgs , shouldn't have got the metal toe ones, but they were on sale lol. Ed

I have always worn Hoffman Fallers, mine threw craps and according to my boot repair guy...they are finished. I just now ordered a pair of the Red Dawgs that have been on sale at Bailey's and I am pretty stoked waiting on their arrival. Off topic...but I also purchased a Rockman helmet system, IDK how I am gonna like it yet but I'm tired of gettn chips in my eyes. After last year getting a stick shoved through my bottom lip and having to yank it out...I have been considering the face shield. I have never worn ear protection or face protection but what the heck...might as well see what all the protective stuff is about. :)

Woodboogah

The face shield will take some getting used to.  I came from the arborculture world and wore almost like a rock climbing helmet.  The face shield took some time but wouldnt go without now.  Plus glasses underneath.  When you can hear when you are older your ears will thank you.  I wear earplugs and leave the muffs up in the summer.  I wear ear plugs and put the muffs down in the winter.  Helps keeps your ears warm too.

I highly recommend hearing protection of some kind. I wear plugs now, but may be too little too late.
I wear glasses for eye protection. I tried a screen years ago, when I had Bellspalsey (or how ever you spell it). I couldn't close my right eye, and I couldn't get used to the screen face shield. I just started wearing a patch (that will mess with your depth perception buddy).
So, all of that said, I just wear my old Mac-T, ear plugs, and eye glasses with safety lenses.

Hey mang...did ya ever get yer Red Dawgs?? Got mine today, I'm REALLY glad I got the EE, even though I have narrow feet, the boots seem to run really narrow! I'm going to have to purchase some real nice insole too...these boots are lumpy feeling on the bottom of my feet. Construction looks real good, glad I purchased them for sure!

I got my new helmet too...IDK if I'm gonna like it, guess I will find out 2moro. Going to be hard to figure where to mount my helmet cam with all the crap on the sides of the helmet :/

they run narrow ya say...........hmmm. are they heavy?

CCC4

Yeh slayerMike, my pair is narrow and they are EE (I think that is wide???) My feet are narrow and prolly wouldn't have liked the regular width. They are lighter than my Hoffman's and waaay better built! I like 'em so well I might even stag my jeans! LOL!
