Kenny, Benny C., and Terry  aka 'T-Bone'

Kim running the Laddervator, Philip is gone after shingles just around the corner, heck all these guys is camera shy anyways

That'd be Kenny roofing and Benny C. supplying

My wife Kim down there smiling for the camera, (she's the K in CK

Kinda thinking though, If all these guys are working, and all's I'm doin is holdin the camera, it can't be all bad all the time.

Disclaimer, colors do NOT depict true colors of the shingles.  These are Certainteed, Burnt Sennia

Old Age and Treachery will outperform Youth and Inexperence. The thing is, getting older is starting to be painful.

Tom

I always admired a fellow that had enough gumption to spend the day on a hot roof.

The K in CK is a lot better lookin' than the C. :D

SasquatchMan

I've always thought the real pleasure in tearing off shingles was..., well, uh, geez, you're right.  It plain old sucks.  Sure does feel good to have a brand new roof over your head (specially when you got a layer of felt right up to the ridge like you did).
Senior Member?  That's funny.

Jeff

Hey! Thats my least favorie hobby too! Followed closely by finishing drywall.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

sawguy21

Jeff, probably nuthin worse than finishing drywall cept painting
old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm

When I was a kid I had to empty the pot. :o

We've got running water now so don't have to do that anymore. :)

YUK YUK YUK YUK .... hate roofing work, but not nearly as much as the drywall....

I guess we all do what we gotta do wehter we like it or not >:(

Fla._Deadheader

Got the roofin, drywallin and paintin, all to do. I'm gonna let Engineer have HIS specialty. Did my tour 3 times.  ;D :D :D
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Norm

As much as I hate roofing, mostly because I can't line up shingles, I will say Engineer has you beat in the least favorite hobby catagory.  :D

Tom_Averwater

Fiberglass insulation has got to be my worst hobby. I'd rather be changing diapers.
He who dies with the most toys wins .

Cedarman

I plan to saw a little more wood so I can pay to  have my drywall hung. Talk about incentive to make a little more lumber. I prefer to help my drywaller send his kids to college.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.

Timber_Framer

Hmmm
Shoveling a 300 yard driveway because I couldn't get the plow truck started would be number one on my list >:(  >:(  >:(  >:(
Closely followed by drywall >:(  >:(  >:(
Then roofing >:(  >:(
and wall paper >:(
However I don't mind laying down shingles if someone else tears off the old ones ;D and I think next time I'm gonna go with a steel roof.

Hanging drywall is easy with a helper. Those 16' x 5/8" can be a pain, but not bad.
Finishing drywall just plain sucks! >:(

SwampDonkey

Yup drywall is a mess indead. I'm still finding dust in little nooks and crannies. Come to think of it, gotta get the dust rag out soon again. ::)
