Stihl flyer

I wish I had the knowledge to show you guys the flyer I found in my shop of a Stihl advertisement.  It is a five fold unit dating back to the 048, 051, 076 era.  A California redwood with five men hanging by rope, and each with a different saw in hand. I have been around big trees most of my life, but have never cut anything more than twelve feet on the stump and this looks to be well above that for size.  Judging by the men hanging on  the ropes, the limbs look to br close to six feet in diameter where they leave the main stem.

I drove through a redwood forest near Eureka some years ago and it was surreal. A bright sunny September afternoon yet it was twilight on the highway. I had seen big, and I mean big, Douglas fir on our coast but this was a whole new world.

That was done by Jerry Beranek, he has a cd or book called "A Tree Story" thats available through Baileys. If you get the cd, it has some excellent short movies of the huge costal redwood groves.
IMHO its a must have for anyone who loves to cut wood.
