Does anybody have any experience with the keto 150 ? I  had a 1998 500 keto on a case and had bad luck at first but got it working good but found the case so hard on fuel for what it was producing .  I just got a 1996 linkbelt 2800 with a keto 150 the motor blew and I have a spare motor but before i spend lots fixing this unit up , Im wondering how they work in hardwood? also Im trying to get something smaller due to the price of fuel and the wood is getting smaller on blocks but im worried it wont cut  productive enough in the woods . I have run logmax which work great but big bucks to buy . Anybody's thought s on this would be great thanks

We had a keto 500 and it was an animal. When it worked. It was pretty wore out, but had good traction, power and measuring. My uncle had a 150 and loved it

being a 98 its a 3 line system. the newer ones are 2 line. nothing wrong with the 3l its just a little confusing to install if you dont understand how it works. it needs 75 gpm and 250 bar to run as it should. keto says 17per sec feed speed and 6900lbs of feed force. there are quick and hit hard. i didnt like the short bar. it only cuts 21.5" in wood 18"on the stump and under they work real well. you only need 1 encoder for the length but it must be in the saw side
