is that a lord nelson??

Alcranb

Thank you Piston. Yes, she's a 37' Lord Nelson Victory Tug. She won't set any speed records, 8 knots top, but very stable and roomy. She has a 100hp Cummins engine that sips fuel and is wicked easy to work on.

Do you keep it in Buzzard's Bay?  I used to drive a launch boat in Marion Harbor.

i will write that date on the calendar. at 8kts i am 90min north. how many tugs are you expecting? there was a nelson in belfast last summer. in soundings mag they had a write up about them about a yr ago

camden is real busy on weekends ans it pretty tight. once you get past wayfarer marine its well protected. just pay attention to the nav aids coming in. at low tide there is a ledge that is awash where there should be plenty of water. once you can see the town boat ramp you will see the red and green balls thats the way in. there are several boat tours that go out for a couple hrs at a time and with everyone else there is lots of traffic. the windjamers usually leave on sunday

Snowstorm, that is a good looking hull.  It is nice to see the classic lines with no Euro transom.

Forum member JMoore in my boat with a decent Gulf Coast flounder last summer.

The middle Cavegirl and myself with a few Tampa Bay Mangrove Snapper.  The boat is in the background (Place to stand while catching fish or a conveyance to the fish).  Your boat is a lot more pleasing to look at, Snowstorm.

Those shure are some nice boats. We went out last nite after work. Our usual spot is still down 5' or so so no boating on the reservoir.
