What happened to Superman? Looked like he didn't want to get his cape dirty and dive after that fumble. ???

I don't watch to much football, but after listening about The Old Guy Qb for a while I wanted The Bronco's to do what they did. Excellent game. Also I liked The Jeep commercial. Missed it on TV

sawguy21

Denver offense didn't look particularly good, there were some pretty dumb penalties and missed opportunities. The defense was a whole 'nuther story, they absolutely shredded the Panthers o line. 7 sacks in the Super Bowl ??? I'm glad to see Manning go out on a high note, he has had a remarkable career.

It really boiled down to great defense on both sides,, amazing in that, but pretty much glad we had plenty of pork, which turned out good, and a 7 layer dip that is working right now,,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

I agree.  That Bronco's defense was impressive.  They made Cam Newton look human.

I'm not a Bronco's fan but, if this is Manning's last dance, I'm glad he's going out on top with a another ring.  Roger

Superman's pout in the after game interview and early exit was not classy.

I liked the Doritos commercial.  Matter of fact, it is the only one that we rewound and watched again.   ;D

I was pretty much disappointed with the commercials and halftime myself.

Fewer really good ads and masses of ads for shows on the network. :-\

same here, commercials are what they are, the half time show has become a disgrace, I might just be getting old, but clearly I would rather watch some good High School Marching bands then the mess that has become so  popular,, I have a hard time understanding any part of what they are saying or doing,,

I don't understand why the half time show caters to the kids either. Are they the majority in the stands or on tv? I don't think so.

Pretty surprised the NFL allowed, ah never mind. ::)

Which one?  The immature tantrum of the loser, or the over-the-top commercial endorsements by the winner?  Or...none of the above?

Raider, I think I know where you were heading, before you....

Dorito's commercial had us rolling on the floor.  One of the most hilarious.

There are those who act with class and those who act like an a..
Perfect picture of a loser pounding the turf and acting like sore loser.
Never before saw a football player look at a fumbled ball like it was a rattlesnake and didn't want to get bit.  I thought every football player instinctively dove for a lose ball.

Could easily been 36 or 43 to 10.
I went to bed happy.

I thought that brief segment with Carlos Santana just before the start of the third quarter was better then the whole halftime show. They could've left Cold Play and Beyonce out and let Santana play at halftime; that would've made a great show.

Both Dorito's and that Jeep commercial Brian posted were winners. Everything else for me was a dud.

I thought the game itself was entertaining. I've watched Detroit self destruct in games like this one for so long, I was most impressed that Wade Philips kept his defense so focused.

Cedar,

Same with me and my wife on the Doritos ad. It cracked us up. I understand a lot of folks were mad about the "Premature delivery" but I understood the nurse to say the baby was due any time so I guess they just didn't hear or pay attention to that.

I was not happy with the outcome of the game but I do think it was well played by both teams especially the defenses. I didn't like the first challenge results but based on the rest of the came feel the Broncos would/should have won anyway.
