I had a Stihl 028 WB that was brought to me not running. Saw had good compression and spark, but the gas line was like pulling a string of chewing gum out. So, I replaced the gas line, but could never get it to tune properly or idle. I replaced the impulse line. Still would not run properly. Since I have a drawer full of ignition coils I replaced the points ignition with electronic. Still no luck. Put a new carburetor on it. Still no luck.  I was just before pulling the jug to get a better look at the intake boot, but eventually after squirting mix directly in the carb messing with it the tank built up enough pressure that I could see it squirting a stream right out the side of the brand new Stihl fuel line.
