Does anyone know if I could put termite poison and bug/spiker treatment on my wood pile.

Would that be a problem burning inside?

I did contact a retailer and he said none is labeled for that, but I don't know if it would actually be bad to do.

What I'm looking at are:

1. Termidor SC,
2. Talstar P (Talstar One)
3. Round- Up

Thanks,

Why would you want to put a poison on anything that you would burn or have in a house to e burnt. I think you are asking for trouble and I would not do it. Roundup is a weed killer

If your burning inside no, if your burning in an OWB maybe but why. I have sprayed the ground in my woodshed before putting down skids and stacking wood but not for years. When splitting wood if some is full of ants I stack it in a separate pile along a fence row and then on cold days I'll grab a few pieces and take directly to the OWB.

Why? Most of the time when I split with ants and bugs they don't like the light and the wood drying. Knock all the loose bugs out when you split it and put it in the sun. They will be gone.

Wally right.I've seen ants in some of my wood. Split the wood and they are gone.
But what about diatomatous earth? I don't have termites, but it works on ants. Safe for humans, bad for bugs.

Thanks thecfarm.  I've never heard of that.  Looks interesting.  May have to give it a try.  Definitely inside the garages.

Here they talk about trenching with Termidor around the house:

I may do that around the wood pile.  Its only about 50' out of the forest so lots of opportunity for interesting critters.

For reasons unknown to me ants seem to love fresh cut hickory .I hosed down the stacks with sevin from a water dispenser . Presto, antless.
