Stihl 041 AV runs Ok for 5 mins then stops

I have been given an ancient Stihl 041 AV in good condition. I have cleaned the carb and changed the plug etc and the saw starts after a few pulls and appears to run normally for about 5-10 minutes then cuts out. It will start and idle but wont run normally. Do I need a new carb? I think its a Tillotson.

Check the gaskets and insulator block under the carb, they are prone to leaking. It also likely needs a fuel line and filter.

Next time it dies, check for spark ASAP.

I second Chop Shop's recommendation. Sounds like a coil starting to go.
