First Post - I just bought a still 461 magnum with Arctic, where is this feature on the saw, I cannot seem to find it?

I have a 460 Arctic and the on/off control is on the right side of the saw, to the left of the 2 bolts that attach the handle and to the right of the carb adjustment grommet:

Here is a photo that shows the location:

Youn wont be sawing long with it in the 'on ' position if it works well.... The handle will get hot !!! I have an 036 Arctic love it when its wet out, dries the cloves in no time.  ;D

I found the opposite I got wet gloves or mitts with heated handles when working in winter snow.
Good pair of leather mitts with trigger finger on the right hand and good quality wool liners are the answer.
Only Stihl Arctic I ever owned was a 066 with a heated carb. Best thing to have on a Stihl in freezing temps.

I do have a heated steering wheel in both my pickup and wifes mini van. I'd never go back to a non heated wheel. ;D

I can't say anything about getting wet cloves in winter, as I have never turned on the heat on the handles in the winter, only ever did when having wet gloves  :-\

I run my heated handle bars pretty much everyday in the winter time , most days Im so close to Lake Erie its real wet/freezing  kind of cold and they dry my gloves right out . I donot buy saws that donot have heated handles
