I am in need of plans for a small shed and am limited to 150 sq. ft..  Does any one here have any experience with TFH plans available from their website?  I was looking at their plans for a 12x12.  Thanks.

I have reviewed several of their plans that they sell.
Mostly they are good.
The one that I had issue with had 3/4" housings.
With all my layout tools I didn't have anything that could accurately layout (and knife) a 3/4" housing. My Big Al doesn't have a 3/4" line. Nor does the new Al sold by TFHQ.
I adjusted my client's plan that he bought from them to change the housing from 3/4" to 1/2" so we could easily layout the housings using a standard Big Al.
(Big Al is a Borneman layout template, Mr. Borneman's first name was Al)

I am building the shed at the bottom of this page. It's a great little shed. It's 10x12. I modified it a little and so can you. The plans are very thorough and easy to follow.

Thanks for the replies, I also have a "big Al", good to have that info.  I can go to 150 sq. ft. footprint but would like to have a loft/second floor to maximize the use of the structure.

I'd keep that loft part to yourself in certain company  ;)

About the layout template:
You can tape or screw on a 1/4" strip to the 1" fence to layout at 3/4" increments from an edge.
You can also remove the fence entirely to layout from a snap line.
It helps to write in new dimensions at each increment to keep from getting confused.

Will, thanks for the spacer suggestion, I will keep that in mind.

Any recommendations for a source on purchasing TF plans?

The Jack Sobon 12 x 16 garden shed has a loft . I think it has been built by many people  learning timber framing ,  so there are many plans out there.

At the timber frame workshop at the Hancock Shaker Village, we built a "Dutch-style" shed.  It's a great design.  The multiple bents provide an easy way to add flooring for some added loft space above.  Although the shed we built was 12x14, you could easily reduce this to 10x14 to meet your 150 sq. ft. maximum size requirement.  In fact, I seem to remember Jim Rogers may have drawn one up that size?
