That's my friend, 72 and still helping in the firm with the restoration of old machines for the museum 

 and here some pics from their firm museum (open to public for a small fee)




one of the owners (5 sons of the firm founder) is a model addict and he donated all of them to the museum. they have at least 3000 models there

Is that Norway spruce in the one picture?

Yes they are, they called different there though. i had to ask mister google

they had some exceptional douglas firs (not in the pics)

Are they quite like the firs we have our on the west coast?

Well, they own over 50 excavators and work mostly in demolition.
