I am cutting some walnut trees I bought from a property owner and I noticed he had a large dead standing maple. I asked him if he wanted to get rid of it and he said to cut it and take it if I wanted it. I dropped it yesterday and it is still solid and appears to have a good amount of spalting. This tree is funky and full of burls.  I have never milled anything like this and was hoping to get some advice on what to do with this thing. I haven't bucked it down yet and it is still sitting about 25ft long. Widest part of root flare is about 62in wide. What should I do with this gnarly old tree?
