Presidential plans Blown Away

Pat and I had tickets to the Donald Trump rally in Jackson honoring and supporting our US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, but the Friday night event was canceled due to Hurricane Florence.  I understand cancelling the event but it still was a disappointment for us.  I saw President Kennedy in 1961 and this was to be the second President for me to see in person.

The ticket link had been downloaded onto my phone but when the event was cancelled the ticket link disappeared.  Guess that it was Blown Away. :-\

I am hoping that this one will be rescheduled.

   I was attending OCS in Quantico when Jimmy carter was inaugurated and got to go see his parade. Tail end Charlie on the parade was the Peanut Brigade from Plains. I think his neighbors chartered two rail cars and were towing a big Helium filled Peanut balloon. I remember seeing Col Sanders in that parade too.
