This past summer I built a shed designated just for the mill, I milled all the lumber excepted the roof joists which is repurposed 2 1/4" by 9" boards. I plan on building bi-fold doors like on a plane hanger building since the front door is 20' wide.  I would of like to go bigger with the building but am limited to flat ground where I live so it ended up being 32'x20'.

Nice building!  I'm studying on what to build.  Seeing your building helps!

Nice, I put an 18` wide leanto on the back of my 48` long garage for the mill a while ago, love it, I`m old enough now if it wasn`t undercover I would use it a lot less......

Super! I like the skylight panels and flow-through ventilation, (especially for exhaust and dust). I saw a similar build on youtube where he had a half door behind the mill for easy sawdust cleanup.

What did you use for a beam to span the 20' door?  Knowing of course that you don't see much for cold or snow over that way.... :D

That looks like a great design and well done. What's the wall height on front and back?

What did you use for a header?

I'm kind of surprised a full 2x9 would be able to handle a 20' rafter span with snow load.

For the header I used 3-2"x10" laminated beams screwed together that I traded a guy for some cutting time. Because the front posts are 8"x8", then I notched into the post 2" on each side for the header to sit on. Front wall is 13' and back is 9'. So I have 3 foot drop in my 20 feet.  The roof trust are on 2' centers.

Nice shed. i see the black at the bottom of your post , did you use treated or did you prep the post with something.

They are western cedar utility poles that I cut off the treated ends because you don't know if they are rotten and also I won't cut any of them that are treated then I painted them with 3/4 roofing tar 1/4 diesel.  All the poles were just treated on bottom, nothing after the bottom 10'.

That looks real good! That mill will last you a long time in there. Did you put down some sort of stone base?  :P

No I did not put any stone down yet, will have to do something in the future because I have sticky gumbo clay.

I was planning on going with wood siding but then I have two other out buildings that match so wanted this to match them.
