throwing darts, has anyone come up with a new game?

My son and his doubles partner won another tournament this weekend that sends them all expenses paid plus entry fees to a tournament in LasVegas.

Back in my youth (pre-married days) we would get tired of just using darts and use ninja stars and small throwing knives if we were inside and larger throwing knives, tomahawks and spears outside.

I also suggest knife throwing, DelawhereJoe beat me to it.  I've heard you can make suitable knives out of mower blades, and cut a wood biscuit for a target.  I believe that's the target they use for tomahawks too.

try standing your buddy in front of the dart board but instead of using an apple on his head use a grape ;D thats guaranteed to add some excitement especially when it your turn to swap places with him    :D :D :D

Watching Jeremy today at State dart tournament . He's  won a week in Vegas so far and took second in 501 singles.

When I was in my teens all the local gin mills had a board.
We played the games that Chuck White did, Baseball, around the board cork in cork out etc, all with wooden darts.
I never got used to the smaller diameter metal ones.
With the stricter DWI laws now almost all of the rural watering holes are gone, but the dart boards disappeared long before this.
