Staring the new sawmill shed for the LT 40

I started this shed last fall when I has the Logosol. After I used the LT 40 over the winter I decided to move it to a spot with more room.

I cleared and leveled the spot and moved the shed base over to it's new home. The shed is 8X8 and I am going to build a 32 ft shed off it to cover the mill.

Started to put the floor down. This is the first lumber used from the new Woodmizer.

Finished the floor. First time I used the generator this year so of course I had to clean some gunk from the carb! This generator belonged to my mother in law and sat for a long time,I cleaned the carb last year and filled it with treated non ethanol but there must be some gunk in the tank. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll start to frame the walls after work.

Yes. This is to store the blades, etc. and maybe a future planer. I am going to build a pole barn roof off the front of it to keep the mill under.

Took some time off from my day job to work on the shed. Finished the siding. Today I am going to build the doors. Tomorrow the shingles. Everyone have a nice forth of July Weekend.

Looking good Rich, I wish I could have gone 8x8 with mine, but I just didn't have the space. Covering the mill for me is also a challenge due to terrain. Looks like you are doing a fine job. Mine was done in a rush, trying to beat the winter weather, still needs battens, but working well and dry as a bone inside.
