How much twist in a log ?

 So I have a butt log that I fell and logged yesterday that I was originally planning on getting over 20 , 16' 2x4s out of. 
 Then I noticed it has about 1/4 turn of twist in the first 8 or9 feet from the butt. 
 This will be framing lumber and will be nailed in place this summer. White Spruce. 
 Does anyone have any idea on how bad the lumber will be ? I can make a beam , 2x8s or 2x10s from it also.

 Also, the heart is offset by about 2 1/2 " at the small end. . The tree had some lean to it.

@Tramp Bushler Enjoy all the post in the sawing section.  No input on what's going to saw out the twisted spruce, we don't see that except on mountain tops here in VA.  However, I think that the log on the ATV trailer is a bit small  :D

Seriously though keep sending pics, are you cutting on public lands or your forest?  What sort of saw do you use?  Nice looking timber in some of the pics, how far off the coast are you?  How far do you have to transport the logs?  Do you use a winch when harvesting?

I'm a log scaler in BC Canada. We take into account the twist when grading logs. #1 can have up to 7% twist based on diameter and up to 15% twist based on diameter for grade #2. It is measured by how many centimeters of twist per 30cm of length. Measured with the stick. If yours is twisted 1/4 around the log in 8 feet I'm betting it's close to a grade-4 log in that section. That is classed as unable to produce merchantable lumber. Though I don't know the diameter. Without actually scaling it that's my best estimate.

Thank you guys for the replies ! These logs taper fast so I'm not sure where to measure the twist from. But I do have a Fat Max metric tape. So I'll give it a try from the butt. And also snap a chaulk line done the center of the log.

   I used the winch on the front of the r wheeler with a block purchase to get the butt log out of its bed and up to the lift tree. Then Ilifted it up with a rope come along and backed the trailer under it. Choked it to the 4 wheeler and off we went. Once I got enough momentum going. We are 118 miles from the coast by road. So its Interior timber. Lattitude 62°+ north. I've been running mostly one of my 460 Stihls 24" bar.
