Yes and yes. My oldest went from more responsible than many adults I know at 14, then somewhere along the line the "stupid switch" as my wife calls it got turned on. Pulled out a lot of hair. I always ascribed that to bad parenting previously, humble pie has been eaten. Hopefully I don't need seconds😊 It's always good working with the kids around the mill, firewood, etc. My kids help out a lot with our little bundled firewood business, it's treasured times for me, and I hope they look back on it and feel the same someday.
