Thinking of Tom today. RIP my friend.

My advice on aging gracefully... ride fast bikes and date faster women, drink good tequila, practice your draw daily, be honest and fair in your dealings, but suffer not fools. Eat a hearty breakfast, and remember, ALL politicians are crooks.

I always wear a red shirt on Fridays. Today on the Anniversary of his death it has double meanings.

I miss him and he had already passed before I ever heard of Forestry Forum. I love going back to his site and reading his tales and reading his advice on the threads here. I use some of his tips every time I saw something. I think he was the one who posted the recommendation to put the RV levels on my mill.

I thought of Tom this week too.  Started to send Gael a note but I misplaced her e-mail address and then got busy and forgot.

We fired up his mill on Thursday and milled a few items in his memory.

What a great and decent individual he was.
