Octoman

It is time to come out of the shadows of the forum and get involved in a few posts!  I saw part time mainly for our own needs but as word of mouth has spread i have started doing a few custom jobs for people.  I have taken so much from the forum in recent months it is time to try and put something back in!  Think i might have cracked the picture posting too!  Here goes.... smiley_trap_drummer

Well, so you have!  Welcome aboard.  Being in the shadows ain't necessarily a bad thing, as long as a shade tree is involved. ;)

Back to the drawing board on the pics, eh? :D  Zip down to "Behind the Forum" for the new instruction booklet.  I think you're only a couple of keystrokes away.

What sorta mill ya got?

Yes welcome Octoman, but back to square one on the photos.  :) The attachment thing you usewd to attach the PDF is for documents only. Not for photos. The guys have some good instructions in the behind the forum board.

Welcome Octoman!  I like your handle--sounds like you belong in Marvel Comics.

Bum-bum-bummmmm....it's Octoman!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum, and as far as posting pics, you need the help of a Superhero to figure that out, at least if you're like me.   ::)  But it can be figured out--if I can do it, anybody can.

Welcome aboard, Octoman.    ;)

It's amazing what a google image search will bring up for ya!   ;D
Y'all can pronounce it "puh-SKOLLY"

Octoman

Well, that didn't go exactly to plan!!! ???  Thanks for steering me in the right direction, the 'behind the forum' section was really clear.

Look like ya got the hang of it. NOW, I'll welcome ya to the Forum.  :D :D ;) :)

   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Thank you for the welcome! :)

I'm not selling sawdust just at the minute although it has crossed my mind!  Anyone having any luck selling Western Red Cedar sawdust, it smells great!
As for the bucket, i'm undecided as to whether i'm saving time here or not.  It can fill up after just a couple of cuts with a biggun' but can last a while if doing smaller stuff.  You can't fit a larger bucket as you still need the clearance when cutting 1" off the deck.  So all in all i'm making lots of small trips with the bucket rather than one big tidy up job at the end of the day with the wheel barrow!  I did once enquire about a troughed conveyer that i imagined all the sawdust falling into and then shooting off into a waiting trailer.  Unfortunately my output could'nt justify the cost! :-\ No harm in dreaming though!
