Does anyone know if Anchorseal or something similar can be purchased (in stock) in Memphis Tn or Tupelo Ms or there abouts?

I bought it at a Woodcraft woodworker store.  Do you have one of those around?

I just buy mine (Anchorseal) through UC Coatings website. They ship it right to my residence. They are a very good company to work with.

+1 on the UC Coatings direct.

Agree with "great people to work with" but direct also allows you to explore different formulations, colors and packaging which you don't seem to get in retail stores.
If you think the boards are twisted, wait until you meet the sawyer!

I seem to have good luck with whatever leftover latex paint (interior or exterior) I can get my hands on. Most of my stuff is white pine for sheds and what not, no walnut, or mahogany, some oak! I don't  get a lot of deep end cracking. I put it on good and heavy with a thick roller! People think the different colors are for different wood species!

I ran across a product at a forestry suppliers in jackson Ms, called Waxlor, $96, 5 gal clear $127.50 with tax and shipping to me, not in stock till 2-15-21. I do not know if its as good or same as Anchor, however I chased it down to a chemical mfg in Memphis. In the meantime I searched around to see what woodworkers were using many were using candle wax or paraffin mixed with mineral spirits and alluded it worked as well as Anchor. Some use 8 oz wax 2 oz mineral spirits, some 50/50, may just try it.

I have no experience with it but I have seen this product mentioned here on the FF:  LINK.

Found a local company in Memphis  that mfg's a log end sealer. The 60 product is a 60% wax, emulsion and the 30 is a 30% wax, emulsion. The 60 clear is available in 5 gal container at $78.50 ($15.70 / Gal). and can be purchased and picked up at the Memphis location. I am not promoting the product, it is just another sealer you could purchase if you are in this area and avoid shipping If interested PM me for more info.

Dana, pine has so much sap that it  is self sealing and so you really do not need to seal the ends.
