Vaccinated unwillingly!!!

I got vaxxed yesterday against my will. Was helping the neighbor work his cattle and one almost cleared the headstall before the gate operator nabbed it. The fellow with the cattle usually does the dosing but he doesn't get around real well due to knee problems. SO he wouldn't have to get up from  his seat he asked me to do the do. When I when to jab the young heifer she threw her head and knocked the syringe into my bicep needle first. Not sure if I actually got any but might have involuntarily squeezed the trigger. I do know it hurt and my arm was sore for a good while. Guess I'll be Lepto and Blackleg free for a little while.  >:( >:( >:(

This reminds me of the old story about the farmer whose new bull wouldn't perform. He called the vet out who gave the bull some medicine. One of his neighbors asked him about it at the coffee shop one morning so the farmer told him that the vet came and gave the bull a golfball-sized pill that had to be shoved down the bull's throat with a broomstick.  But, the farmer went on, the pill had worked like magic and by the end of the day, the bull had covered 5 heifers! The neighbor was fascinated and asked the old farmer what was in the pills. The farmer said, " I don't know but they have a peppermint flavor!"
