Yes I almost bought that clark from a guy in Massachusetts a few years back but it didn't pan out still had a front broken motor mount. Those tree farmer skidders are nice they pull pretty good fo how light weight they are.

A few hitches with my son - his first time in the bush logging and me getting the cobwebs out.

I watched it seems like it's working ok for you. Seems to be smoking a lot though 🤔

Smokes a lot!  We noticed it has the S type injectors - might even be original injectors.  Does slobber a lot while idling.  But it's running well so I think ill just run it and keep the mosquitos away:)

Someone commented in the video that this screen might be plugged partially.

I doubt it - if it were clogged it would be black smoke, I just think it's the injectors ..

Hi, I have a Garrett Tree Farmer C4B skidder.
I have to replace parts on the transfer case Rockwell
model T3232, serial number 463-0020. Does
anyone know where to find replacement parts and I
would also like a schematic for the transfer case mentioned
above.
Thank you any info is greatly appreciated. You can email
me if it's easier.

Try searching this way:
Rockwell T32-32 transfer case. T32 is the series of transfer cases and the -32 is probably the number that describes the characteristics of the one in your particular application...ie shaft arrangement, one or two speeds, pto or not etc.
I found this link on the T32's. You will be able to see if this transfer case is similar to yours or not.

Did the older TJs (70s) run this also?

tacks Y the early Timberjack 201,205,215 1960's used the T32 Rockwell Standard transfer case. They could also be found in S7 Internationals { Hough}. Parts are obsolete for them now, a few years back I needed a gear and could not buy it, found one in a scrap pile and it's still in use on my 201.

lshobie

Pretty sure I have that transfer case in my parts Timberjack, complete and useable with disc brake conversion.

Nice video, but the lack of seeing on that thing? If the winch doesn't eat you, what will get run run over?

.

lshobie

lol, oh ya totally dangerous, to operate the winch a person needs 4 arms and 3 legs.  I just bought it for parts to be honest...has the same axles as my tree farmer and some other parts.

Cheers.

Tree farmer pulled a nice beech for some live edge milling and firewood for the left overs.

Hate to burst your bubble on those diff's but the only thing the same is the planetary ends. The Timberjack has a ratio of 6/36 and the Tree Farmer has 5/39, teeth count I mean. The Timberjack axle is 7 inches shorter also so the side axles are shorter also. I'm going to say you must of got that old Jack cheap :D

lshobie

Thanks for the info!  Bubble not burst at all, I can still use the planetaries and winch parts.  And other bits.  Yes I got it cheap and parting it out here and there.  I think the bellhousing is an SAE 3 as well ..mates up to the dodge but I'll do some research.

Nice dominoes.  Looks like thatll run circles around your case 450 crawler.  Still have that?

Which one can pull a bigger hitch you think?

oh ya for sure way better than the crawler - I have rocks on my road so the crawler was a kidney buster lol.  I sold it to a friend they use it all the time and love it.
This will pull more for sure, I can only get 5-7 pine on the back of this in the plantation efficiently - my cable is too short and any more than 7 down at a time makes a real mess.  After I limb and top them I run over the debris and it cleans it up nice.  Once I get that row out ill be able to pull out the other poor quality ones tucked into the sides of the row easier - then I can pull more.  The crawler didn't lift them high enough as well - would be caught on everything...but was a good machine for cleanup here and there.
Thanks for watching!

Ive had the same crawler for like gosh.. 8 years now.. Only run it maybe half hour.  Been at my brothers 1000 miles away and i cant transport it yet.

That i own it prevents me from making any hard decisions on how to setup my D31 because the 450 might be better with full power turns.  but i just dont know and wonder about it all the time.

I think the dozer is getting a 2 cable mini tower and the loader will get a grapple in place of the drott bucket, plus a winch and a big 4 post trailer that it self loads CTL.   Since theyre so slow yet powerful i think its best to fill a trailer as high as itll lift or pull and make one pass a day.

The 450 does turn well, not sure if you are running on snow, if you do cut holes in your grousers and it works way better.  The grapple would be great.

This stuff is like anything else, a crawler loader doesn't do what a dozer or backhoes does, a backhoe doesn't do what an excavator does, a wheel loader doesn't do what a skidder does and so on - so you need to buy one of each......so my son says.
