We've got a 60v dewalt n it's a beast with a 16" bar.Worse thing I don't like about it is how long it is

I have CAD pretty bad and own LOTS of gas saws.  A few  months ago my brother gave me a Stihl MSA220 with a 16" bar for my birthday.  It is a great saw and I find myself using it more and more in place of my 50cc gas saws for certain type work. Battery life is good, I think.  I was so impressed that I bought a Husky 540i to try out too. I'm a little less happy with it.  Battery life isn't as good, although it has a lower power setting you can use to extend battery life.  Both of these saws are impressive and easy to use.  I really think battery saws are going to start taking a lot of sales from gas saws.  One bad thing is these top of the line Husky and Stihl saws are EXPENSIVE all in with batteries and chargers.

Do any of these battery saws use chain loops that would be considered common to the smaller gas saws, or do they have unique gauge/DL counts that could be harder to find? The Husky and Stihl models use what I'd guess could be called standard chains shared with their gas offerings. Can't remember for which brand saws, but some folks have come in the store looking for odd loops that we didn't have. If you already have some small saws using 3/8 LP chains, it would obviously be helpful if chains, (or even bars), could be shared with a battery saw.

My Hart battery 12 inch uses a common Oregon chain.

Just picked up a 2nd hand Ryobi 40V battery chainsaw for $75;  I don't really need it but the price was right.
Have not given it a work out yet as I need to get some small files to sharpen it since it is pretty dull from the prior owner.
It should be handy for small trimming and tossing in the tractor cab.
