I guess father time is catching up with me.
I have sold one piece of my forest land of 53 acres and am in the process of selling my largest piece of 119 acres to my son and his wife.
I still have one 57 acre piece that I will hold on to for a few years yet lord willing.
The investment in these properties have been one of the most rewarding parts of my existence along with having a partner in life that I am very lucky to have had for the past 42 plus years as well as a wonderful blended family.

It is great that a good sized chunk is staying in the family.

We all need land to play on.
I see so many people that live on 250 square feet.  :o
But saying that people don't want the land. First off it cost money, taxes too, then they have to take care the land. But some own land and don't do nothing on it.
