log arch trailer trial

picked up a few logs out of the woods last week, these logs were about 75 feet from the trailer and had no problem pulling with the 10,000 pound winch.

Cool. I was amazed at the power my log arch provided.  Looks like you will be hauling a lot.

B.C.C. Lapp  lumber.. I've got a homemade built sawmill.reason for posting this is the idea that this is probably the simplest and cheapest way to pick up log without using any other machinery.

Now you need a side unload feature to load it on the sawmill :)

You mean he needs a digger.. 12 tonner with a grapple ought to do it.

Actually guys what i'm thinking about is a making poor man's grapple using my forklift as in the picture below and adding two modified pallet puller on each end to my I beam that i can open (manually or electric) as i grab a log from the trailer....i've got a rough sketch between my ears...hmm.
