My friend took her tests and now has her permit.  She told me there were a total of five tests. .  Two general knowledge tests, Air Brakes, Buss Regulations, Passenger Cert, I beleive that's what she said they alll were.

She wanted me to thank everybody that replied on this discussion.  She did NOT want me to repeat that she only missed two questions on all five test but I don't care, I'm going to tell it anyway.

She also said that in spite of her studying there were STILL questions on the test that she had never seen that werent in the book or on the practice tests.

AND.........she said in spite of THAT, a couple of them were STILL eenie meenie miny moe, her words, not mine.

However, two of the three questions that I asked here for her, were  on the test. AND she said it turned into a very interesting discussion.  AND that the discussion here helped prepare her in more ways than one for the tricky questions that she ran into.

THANKS from me for helping.

Old Age and Treachery will outperform Youth and Inexperence. The thing is, getting older is starting to be painful.

That is great news to hear, ck.

Wish her well for us, and hope she keeps her sanity with a busload of kids.  :)
As well, I wish them safe travel, as it is a great responsibility.

air brake systems have a one way valve in them which keeps the air from leaking back out of the tanks in case the compressor blows up (it do happen beleve me :o) its usally located between the compressor and the air dryer
