Harvesters gathering slash for chipping at the same time as stripping branches?

I just saw videos of modern Harvester machines and was blown away by how they can pull down whole tree trunks and then strip the branches off all in a matter of seconds.

Has anyone heard of these types of machines being modified so that they gather the leftover slash in the same operation and store them for feeding directly to a chipping machine? Does that already exist?

In this scenario, I could imagine the chipping machine being attached to the harvester, and spewing chips into a separate holding tank, or I could imagine the slash being stored in a vessel and later fed to a chipping machine, though the former scenario sounds easier in my mind.

Many typees of machines have been developed over the years. In forest chipping has the disadvantage of using diesel compared to a mill yard chipper that might have an electric chipper powered by nuclear, hydro-dam, natural gas etc derived electricity. Pine can wait to be debarked at the mill but there is a cost of trucking bark on the logs to the mill. Mills usually have a lab handy to test chips so adjustments can be made to chipping equipment.

Sweden (2017) forwarder with chipper and tip bin. Probably closest to the chip and carry machine. I need to check up on some of  the claims that some of these Swedish methods remove too many nutrients/ bio-material and hamper the establishment of the next generation of trees.
