Got this late winter. A 2024 Ram 1500, the LAST year for the Hemi's. This number three for me. Love the Hemi but maybe the next power plant might be better? Hate to say that, but my second Hemi had constant issues breaking exhaust manifold bolts. My current one has the infamous Hemi "tick" at 10,000 miles.

I bought an '03 w/ the 5.9L gasoline engine this Spring... we're at about $800 worth of parts, and I finally got all the check engine codes cleared. Maybe a bottle or 3 more of sea foam and she'll purr like a kitten!

I have a 2010 1500 ram w/ 4.8 6? Li, just went over 154k needed an oil change so I took it to a good mechanic to check out everything. New front calipers an rotors and no problems with engine. I couldn't believe it, I was watching a u-tube vid about the top 10 engines ever built and mine is not one of them.

I have a 2019 RAM 1500 with 5.7L Hemi. Truck rides very good and lots of amenities. Both exhaust manifolds cracked (covered under warranty). Engine is fine, but doesn't haul as well nor as good a mileage as two previous F-150 3.5L V-6 turbos I had. I would do the F-150 again. Must be popular, because RAM and Toyota have both copied Ford's twin turbo V-6 for their top-tier engine. Not sure about Chevy.

Back when I was towing a 5th wheel camper around the country I wanted to try a Dodge with a Cummins but could never find one with a comfortable seat. The Dodge/Ram 1500 we had at work also had an uncomfortable seat so my butt never allowed me to buy one.
