I've been a member here for a very long time. Haven't stopped in, in like forever. Just thought I'd poke my head in and say Hi! smiley_grin

Fixing my junk mostly ffcheesy
Every once in a while I actually, get to do some milling. ffwave
I've got a couple different properties with timber on them. It's all I can do to stay ahead of the dead stuff mostly.
Especially when I'm all the time fixing junk.
I DID finally get a different tractor for the shortwood skidder. I had an old wrung out 65 Massey Ferguson I was powering that with. It was in sorry shape so I finally just gave up and bought a JD 2020. It seems to be a good enough tractor.
I had a good old farmall M on the shortwood skidder but it wasn't enough tractor for it. But it was better than that wrung out old MF65.
The Norwood bandmill has always been very reliable. However, I've probably never overworked it. It does just keep on eating logs.
I recently did a small upgrade to that. I put a digital scale on it. That is kind of a game-changer; for me anyway.
It was made for some of the more recent model Norwood mills but it was on sale so I bought it  :huh? and made some brackets to fit it on my LM2000.
I like it so far.

Fixing Junk seems to be my main job since retirement.
Sawing dead and storm blown trees was my main reason for building my mill. I came very close to buying a digital scale for it a while back, but talked myself out of it. Sounds like you're enjoying yours. I may have to re-evaluate when more funding comes available.
