No longer getting notification emails

Anyone having problems getting notification emails?  I used to get them previously but it was a little inconsistent.  Last few months, I haven't gotten any.  My profile settings are correct for emails.

I've not had any for a long while, but I prefer the alert feature over emails.

I rarely even get alerts either.  I didn't get an alert for this thread after 2 replies.

Set it in your 'notifications'. In the menu bar up top you see your forum name and it is a drop down when you click and it's in there to get to it. Also you may have had your browser not accept them. That's some place in your browser settings. I know in this browser it can block them.

His notifications,are set just fine. I can check that. This would explain why posting could be down, because many people rely on the notifications to come back.  The new server baffles me, so I need to wait for help.

Well since my new computer my PC notifications are working just fine. I rarely, almost never use email notifications because I am logged in pretty much all the time. After we did that series of upgrades I did have to reinstate many of my notifications on specific threads. There were a bunch of old threads I had notifications on that I could not remember or find again, but I wanted to know months or years later if that thread ever came back to life. This is partly why I try to read every post on the forum each day. I learn a lot of things by accident in subjects I would not otherwise thought I had an interest in.

I am stlll waiting on a long awaited forum software update that is supposed to take care of the inability to edit profile signatures for one thing.

We think we got this figured out, fingers crossed.

I know in Brave, under Shields settings, it can block a lot of stuff even those notification popups, which I allow from the forum. They get stored under the bell icon on Windows task bar. Same with my email notices from Thunderbird.

It is for sure sending the notifications again. Make sure they are not showing up in your spam folder!

Yup, I got notified, but it was in gmail spam.

Never tried the email notices because I have them turned off. I like the 'Alert' system.

Yup, because I set it up that way. Awhile back they would come now and then when I had it set up for them. Remember I even changed email address back then and they still didn't come regularly and nothing in spam. Then I decided I liked alerts better than emails anyway.

After the fix, I am getting emails for this thread but no alerts.  On another thread, I am getting alerts but no emails.  For both threads, I have it set to receive both emails and alerts.  Still seems to be a bug somewhere.

Well, the only othe suggestion I'd have is to maybe  remove the notifications from topics you really still want notice on, save, then replace the notification.  

So far I seem to be getting the ones I test subscribed to. I typically never use email notices. For me it's silly as I'm either here, was just here, or I am about to be here when I have decent internet. If I don't have decent internet, then I would not get email either, and as for email, I don't trust any kind of delivery reliability.
