The blades came yesterday. Going to be a while before I can use them as there is about a foot and a half of snow on the ground.

I didn't ask for anything special and I haven't opened the box. I got 10 degree, .045.

Have some kinda dry r.oak to saw, more red oak coming down and a big pine log. Always lots of red maple around but I have no use for it other than maybe stickers( Don't really have plans for the oak, either... and it's probably not good to make plans before I see what's in there ! )

Still have to get the mill off it's trailer and on to some blocking, buy a battery, maybe evict some mice and wasps.

Despite lots of effort, the centrifical clutch still doesn't work... can't get the engine idle low enough for it to disengage so I'm going to start and stop it a lot.

When you say you can't get it to idle low enough for the clutch to disengage, is that with or without a blade?

If without, then with, maybe there will be enough drag to stop it?

Thanks for the thoughts but the clutch has never disengaged. I've had it apart several times and called the clutch manufacturer.

I just haven't taken the leap to an electric clutch yet. I think I looked into it and it was complicated or expensive. But I much dislike having to go out in front of the spinning blade !!
