Belt driven? And what does it have for a motor? Single phase?

Belt drive with a 1 hp motor. The fella bought it new in 1989 from harbor freight I think. I found some info on it and ordered a new set of blades. I don't think he used it much and from what I've found online it's not to bad of a machine. Probably getting everything adjusted correctly will be the main problem but hopefully I'll get it figured out. Give me something to piddle with when the weather gets bad.

I'd bet it is very similar to Grizzly, Jet, and other brands of Taiwan made machines.

Good deal on the grill! Just make sure to check all the gas lines and valves for leaks before you light it up.

Nice jointer! May want to put some wax on the bed and fence after you polish it up, to keep the raw metal from flash rust. I remember my old shop teacher used to say on old jointers crank the infeed bed lower then the depth you want, and then crank it back up to the setting. Had to do with the friction between the two iron surfaces. Also nice it has the notch on the outfeed bed, if you ever need to make a half lap joint for a panel.

Finally got some new blades for my old jointer. Cleaned rust off the beds and got everything lubed up. Took awhile to get blades installed and adjusted but I think I got them right. Ran a piece of poplar through it and seemed to work pretty good although it threw out bigger shavings than my planer does and doesn't take long to make a big mess. I think I'll make a low platform with wheels to set it on so I can push it outside to use it. So far I've only got 25 dollars invested so I guess I can afford a set of wheels and a few screws.

I wasn't looking for an enclosed trailer , though I know I will need one in the future, or another project , but for $100 I'll take it. Needs fenders and wiring, I have to work on the doors and check lights and brakes after I do the wiring and some misc.

Old Greenhorn

Great score!!!Wish I could have found that one around here. How's the inside, floor and walls, etc.? I got all my parts from etrailer, they just made it a lot easier for one stop shopping. When it's fresh is the best and easiest time to strip the walls, throw up some insulation, run all your wiring, put the new fenders on, then close the walls up and put in your storage methods, shelves, hooks, etc.
Best of Luck with it Arnold!

The back piece of plywood needs replacing and I will build new doors and put the skin on that. I didn't think of insulating it , but with the summer here it would probably be a good idea.

Old Greenhorn

Well I have no idea what your intended use is, maybe you don't either, but I'll throw out these ideas for your consideration. Just based on things I learned. Your mileage will vary.
First I found that once I had all the inside panels off, I knew I really didn't want to do that again. I needed to do that just to bolt on the fenders. SO while it was open I installed a bulkhead landline (110V) fitting so I could plug the trailer in and have 110v inside withut having to leave a door open. 1" rigid foam filled the space between the skin and the panels for I put that in also while it was open. I also put in a full new harness and re-did the wiring while it was open., it's mush fast when you can see all the light fixtures from the inside. I put up 12v LED strip lights on the inside while I was at it and after the walls were back together I installed a deep cycle battery to run the lights and other stuff, plus a battery maintainer.  I would do your floor before I did the walls, Use 5/8" ply, at least. Also consider either painting the floor or putting down a wall to wall rubber mat. It makes cleaning it much easier. My trailer came with one and I love it. It's only slippery if there is ice on it.
I have not insulated and paneled the roof, but I need to. Mine is curved, so a bit more of a challenge. That trailer is like a hot box in the summer. My trailer is black, which doesn't help, but the roof is silver. I don't want my stuff cooking in there, so I leave the roof vent half open all summer  and have a small 110v fan in it exhausting the air. On really hot days I crack the side door open. I also park it under a shade cloth in the hottest part of the summer. But I have no idea what will be in yours.
Anyway, just some things for you to think on or discard. I don't regret any of the work or money I put into it, it has paid off.
Best of luck with it. I am guessing you will want to think on ventilation a bit more than I did. I would love to have a free air inlet that will not allow water in while driving,

Any used trailer I'd recommend checking the axles and springs for anything damaged or wore out. Also wheel bearings/hubs checked and greased. Even so, $100 for a trailer is like buying at an auction where only a few people show up!

Definitely going to do bearings and brakes, among the other stuff. I'm not decided on the track tie downs at this time. It will probably be awhile before this project makes it to the top of the list, there's a bunch of items on it right now. Unless something comes up and it gets moved to the top.

My mother and stepdad are moving back to Dayton, so we went down there yesterday to help pack some stuff up, they've got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff. Anyway, many years ago they bought a nice 7.1 home theater system. I'm relatively tech-savy but struggled to get it working properly, but it's a nice Sony system. They gave up on using the receiver and some of the other components so I have a new sound system in the shop! Woop! There's still a little work that needs done to get it running up to par but I'm listening to radio now, which I've never done in here. I've got a replacement remote and an RCA to Bluetooth receiver coming tomorrow. I still need to figure out the antenna, I've got some wire and the antenna it came with up but it's leaving a bit to be desired. Also, it thumps!

Sitting here after lunch today, and Lara walks in the door carrying a large object.  :huh?

"What's that"?

"A speaker, it was by the dumpster at school"

Anyway, it was a legit dumpster score, so I found some cables to hook it to a PC, but no power. Check fuse? Yep it was blown. New 2A fuse in there and it lights up, and makes some muffled doof doof  noises. A bit more checking and it's a combined amp / sub woofer, that originally came with a pair of smaller speakers. No worries, retrieve some 40 year old stereo speakers from the attic and hook them up.

I have been scoring a lot lately as I have been active in local auctions.  I bought a ton of model train stuff and a bunch of model kits for planes that date late 1950's-1960's in their original boxes.  Some of the models are munged by someone who had no talent, but can be saved.  All told, I estimated it to be worth around $1400 and I got it for $570.

Other items snapped up recently are a $170 computer gaming chair for $70 in great shape, three levels(6 foot, 4 foot, 2 foot w/ digital readout) for $43 and a metal bar with four clamp mount grow lights w/ power strip for $8.

I am trying to break the auction vice that has me in its grip like an iron vise. ffcool

I'm in a constant state of ignoring model trains... We have a fairground right up the road that has regular model train expos, and I haven't gone yet because it may turn ugly (read- expensive).

I have Mondays off the rest of the winter.  My son had a 2hr delay because of a piddly 3in snow storm.  We had a big "weekend" type breakfast, then I decided to check an item off my to do list, organize safe/gun safe.

Is it still a score if you find something you forgot you had?  I forgot I still had a Sig .22lr Mosquito pistol.  It was jammed in the back of the safe in its case.  I really hate the thing, its always had cycling issues and I even brought it back twice (Sig has a few manufacturing facilities in NH). they went through it and did a few "tweaks" but it isn't reliable, which means I'm not gonna shoot it much.  Turns out, they don't make "that"  gun here in NH.  Anyways, I thought that I'd traded it toward some other pee shooter long ago, so it was a surprise to find it.  Guess I'll have to find a different .22lr to.replace it, cause it isn't. spending much more time in my safe!

An auction house that we check into had a plumbing company going out of business sale. We lucked out on a hand truck that has a drop down railing to hold more cord wood chunks  and Rita scored 2 potty seats, had to buy the 2 to get the one to fit our basement potty seat  ffcheesy .

I've known I need more hardware storage for a few months.  Over that time I've searched Marketplace for Durham drawer cabinets and other hardware storage.  Found one set of Durham for a good price but wasn't fast enough.  I have five 4 drawed Durham drawer cabinets that I bought back in like 2014.  Price has gone up a lot, too much.  So I started thinking about building my own drawer cabinets, but knew it was a bigger project than I had time for anytime soon.  Last weekend I was perusing Marketplace and came across this score.  30 new drawers 16"x16" x about 3" deep for $40 bucks for all!  That's $1.33 per drawer.  Talk about a time saver!  All I need to do is build the cabinets and install the drawer slides.  Yes I could just do wood sliding on wood, but I want good slides.  The company is a supplier of furniture to universities/schools for dorms and common areas etc.  These were leftovers/replacement parts and I'm guessing  they stopped making this or just needed to make room in the warehouse.  I did buy a Durham drawer insert and some other drop in inserts and they fit well, so I'll be able to outfit the drawers with these insert compartments of the configurations I need.

These Gray drawers cabinets are some of my Durhams.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

Incredible deal!

How're drawers like what you have versus the clear, plastic pull out set of small drawers? I haven't found a hardware solution I like but it seem like the mason jar bolted to a board method may be one of the best... I don't really have anything particular, just a bunch of odds and ends.

I have been working on my 1932 Chev 3-window coop.
A man was selling a 1965 Impala SS -  super sport 327 v8 2-speed power glide In real good condition no rust to speak of.
The paint is still on the frame. It has less than a 1000 miles on it. $4,500.00 with a little fixing and maybe a new interior and a paint job it's a $ 30,000.00 to 40,000.00 car. I don't need another car but, I could not pass on it.

Granite, I've never shot a Mosquitoe but I did get a SIG 322. I was looking at Ruger or Browning 22s, SIG had just came out with the 322. I really liked the feel of it, which matches polymer frame 9mm's I've been shooting. I've only put a few hundred rounds through it, but it seems solid. The only thing I don't like, is it it hammer fired not striker. Not bad in of itself obviously, but the rest of the pistol matches a polymer frame striker fired pistol. This has a safety you need to remember to use, where they don't.
