Well after 15 years of wanting a sawmill I finally bought one now that I am retired. I currently have over 80 SYP logs piled up (cut this winter in my back yard). Looking forward to learning what I know I don't know as well as what I don't know I don't know. OK OK it is an Oscar 528 Hud-son, just for sawing for me.

Congratulations! I'm pretty new at this sawing thing, too. It's amazing how much you'll find that you didn't know. And the more you learn, the more ignorant you'll think you are! ffcheesy

 Congrats

Congratulations!

It's easy to have a plan for lumber.  What most overlook is a plan to get rid of waste.

Anyway keep us posted on your progress on those 80 logs!

Best of luck to you rockman.
80 logs are going to make a lot of lumber. Do you have any plans for the lumber?
