Can you get more info on the company who built those (name)?
My little town has an immense playstructure, built solely by volunteers in the 80s that needs to be redone. It's alot of pressure treat... it's the secret heartbeat of the town and it feels like the powers at be want to replace with plastic junk. Not on my watch. Collecting inspiration to push back and let our kids get splinters and touch trees. Just a tough sell, maybe we can build out of teak...

Will see what I can find out, I know people on the board that are overseeing having it built.

Chep,
The name of the company is Bienenstock, located in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. (bienenstockplaygrounds.com) The website has a contact number and email for any questions about the playgrounds.
My friend on the board didn't have any pics of the swing set posts going up. But looking at the company website, they design and engineer everything to meet high standards, so I think it would have been built as Old Greenhorn said.

I'm a little concerned about the bark being left on the logs. Won't bugs love to lay eggs under/in the bark and cause worms to follow?
Worm holes will allow water into the wood and rot sooner, won't they?
Normally bark will dry out and fall off soon, won't it?
