Yes, I finally saw a fawn.
Have not seen one in 40 years or more.
This was not a small one, about the size of a goat, but it had spots.
I was driving by my road in the company car to deliver parts to a garage and I saw it standing in the road. It went to the edge of the road and tottered off on the side of the road.

I've only seen one fawn here this year, the first I've seen in 2 years. There are lots of dry does around, otherwise they would not group up so much. A doe with a fawn is not often part of the group. Them things are hard to see anyway especially with all the new June growth. I have actually about stepped on fawns before. One was at a base of a tree in the woods, foot ready to meet the ground and a fawn jumps up.  That'll surprise you. ffcheesy
