Maybe cutting hay would be a better word. But then I am not baling either.  :wacky:
The lawn takes about a 1/2 hour.
The "haying" part is what takes days.
We mow the fields about every 2 weeks. Wife likes the looks of the fields being "mowed" instead of once a year.
And I do agree with her, it does look better.
One field the stepson needs to train his bird dog. So that is not being mowed. We go around about 4-5 times to keep the bushes at bay.
I was not feeling well and I slowly catching up. I still have to mow above the old farm house and the new piece, which is still too wet to mow.

Cold SE wind here and only 55°, not going to get much better. SE wind is cold here off the Strait, SW wind is like hades off the land mass.

Just came in from "mowing".  :wacky:
I really got wet this time.
Cold at 60° with the rain.
I only had a little bit to do when it really started to rain.  smiley_smug01
1/2 hour later it was done.

Yes, mother thought we needed a little furnace heat to, push button kind. And you scoffed awhile back about needing heat into June in this part of the continent.  You'll probably forget by next spring and blame your FIL for it. ffcheesy ffcheesy

Remember I was out mowing in the rain too when the heat came on.  smiley_smug01   I was some cold when I came inside.
Just like my father would say, Don't even know enough to in out of the rain.
Should of stayed in the house and watched TV.  ffcheesy

I have an order for 25 pounds of rhubarb.

No heat this morning at 56°. Looks like a dry day and a temps of 76 for a high.

That's a lot of Rhubarb.  ffcheesy

The recipe I used for the jam, I used a little more rhubarb than called for 6 cups instead of 5 along with the same amount of sugar called for and it was short 3 jars. Whoever wrote that doesn't realize that 1 cup of granular sugar isn't the same as 1 cup of water, I can tell them that.  :uhoh:

No dry and no 70's here today. Maybe 65° they said.
