I have a Bluebird family living in the little house on the corner post of my back deck.

I've been trying to get them to eat mealworms, so I put some in the little "normally hanging" dish on the rail, and some just scattered on the rail.  they eventually started feeding on the ones on the rail, but still not feeding out of the dish.

I think, with persistence, they'll eventually start feeding from the dish, then I'll work at getting them to feed from it after I hang it up, about 2 feet away from their house!

Grosbeak, suspect Rose-breasted but can't be sure from what is pictured.

My sister got me one like that for my birthday. It's great! Some of them you can even speak through. Gave my wife quite a fright one time she was weeding by the feeder.
