Members Map Instructions

Try these steps.

Example is for USA Map. Alter the instructions to fit your country.

First click "Place your Pin", then select the USA map from the top drop down. THe map will change to the USA map. Then enter your town and State where it says "City:"

Then Select United States in the next feild for the flag. Now, you can click on the map where you live. If you think it does not look quite right, just click agin until it does. Once you have the tree where it looks O.K. click the save my pin button

If you got to the map and the trees are all up in the words, (happens sometimes) simply click your refresh button and the trees will go where they need to be.

8) Thanks, Jeff. I'm sure proud to get that map deal fixed. Been telling the Mrs we was gonna hafta move to Afreaganastan cause I couldn't change the map and didn't want folks to think I was lying about where we live. Mrs wanted to know where that place was that we was going to be moving to so she could find out where the Walmart was and i had to tell her that the truth was I had no idea where it is but was gonna ask the uhaul feller for a map showing the best way to go there. I guess we'll spend the weekend unpacking. Thanks again Jeff ;D ;D

I seem to have a problem scrolling the members map? I am comp. iliterate, [and can't spell] may not be prob. at forum.

Has the page finished loading when you try to scroll?

Internet explorer has an awlful time with the members map due to the extreme amount of coding it takes to make it show up with all of the members on it now. Firefox browser, for some reason loads it very quickly and without the problems IE does.

I needed to move my pin after the move. I found I had to delete the original and re post it in the new location. Then I found myself MIA on the members list. Turned out the list had defaulted and I had been relocated in Afghanistan. Oh well, at least I could still go to Tim's :D Got back to Canuckistan where I belong.

is the member map dead? im having problems with it working and i didnt see any trees or shrubs. it is definatley different. mabie theres a linky or thread i missed 'splainin' it.

i wanted to see if there were any new yankees on board.

on edit, i see i can zoom right in on my farm with this new map, just my pin is missin.
