i've been talking back and forth with Pappy for almost a year now. He invited the wife and I up to see his cabin in Maine. We spent the weekend with him and his wife...they are great folks!..sure made us feel at home!

The 24 hour time warp went by way to fast,,, hope our experience of building our log cabin makes yours that much easier this coming summer,,, and I'm sure you'll have more q's for me...  ;)

Looks like snow on the ground, how did you get out back to the Outback? Still sledding in?

We did have enough snow on the ground to sled in and out easily Saturday and Sunday when Steve and April were here.  Then it warmed up on Monday to almost 80 and the snow melted about 12"... 

I'm gonna sled in today to see how the culvert is doing where the big brook crosses the road, and the run off in the hill...

This is how we transport friends and stuff in and out in the winter if they don't have a sled... I actually have three tote sleds which I can hookup behind the Bearcat when we need to, looks like a freight train...  ;D
