my 3120 will not start up again after it gets warmed up it runs like a scallded dog until i shut it off then it wil not start again until it's cold what's the deal i changed the plug and used ether i dunno.

nothing one time the plug is wet and the next dry and still nothing

is it the coil getting hot and shutting down the spark under compression or what's up help i just about threw the saw back in the truck for good maybe it doesn't like the 20 inch bar i put on it dunno

also my 056 mag won't start again when warm until i choke it seems like carb prob but i dunno

Get the air filter cleaned out and the air flow open and try it again, it could be as easy as that.

i took in in the shop i dunno it has something to do with electrical. As soon as it cools down bing ba bing bing she is running sounds like a dirt bike. Then when warmed up again i shut it off and then nothing unless i start it right back up if i wait 5 seconds nothing for 3 hours.

Sorry, can't help you.  When it happens to me it's because some moron forgot the kill switch.  I hate it when I've got nobody to blame but myself.

The coil is a possibility though.

So many trees, so little money, even less time.

Likely a coil.
Always check for spark when that happens.

I agree that the electrical side is always the first suspect.
But the cause could also be as simple as a partially blocked pickup body or tank vent.
These would only start playing up as soon as the saw has been shut off after some use.
