Hey Thanks, another day to saw some logs.
Your day's half over, by now. Work or Play?

Thanks KiwiCharlie! 8)  Of course, since I'm retired, I don't get a day off anymore.  All of my days are off :o  Hmmmmmm, that doesn't sound right.

The little town of Dover had it's 2nd annual Fireworks display put on by the Volunteer Fire Department. They shot the fireworks off about 2 blocks directly south of my front door. We sat on our front walk and literally had to look almost straight up in the air. The smell of gunpowder was really strong and it was quite smokey.  Lots of fun!  A great display too for such a small town. The Dover Horse Pull is tomorrow! 8) 8) 8)

G'day Guys,
Ed - Just another day at work for me!
Charlie - that display sounds amazing!  Ive been to one at a rugby ground before, and yep, looking straight up!  Gave me a crick in the neck!
Shopteacher - we have a similar day down here.  Called Waitangi Day, but I think it may be changed one day, to New Zealand Day.  Its Feb 6th.
Cheers
Charlie.

Thanks for thinking of us on our special day, KCharlie. Those kinds of remembrances always seem special when they come from our friends from overseas. :)
