I recommend you go to the Association of Consulting Foresters website:  http://www.acf-foresters.org  and click on the "Find a Forester" box. then click on NH in the pull down menu.

All of the sources mentioned for getting a list of foresters in your area are a good place to start. But remember, once you have the list in your hand, that's just the start. In some states, it doesn't take much of anything to get included on a list of foresters. You'll still need to check them out, or ask around from other landowners to find out who the good ones are.

Remember, there is a lot to forestry, and not everyone is an expert in all aspects. If you think about what your long-term goals are, hopefully you can find a forester with the skills and interests to match. At the very least, having some idea of what your goals are gives you something specific to ask about when you are investigating their backgrounds.
