Haytrader sent me these pictures of the Isabel and asked me to help him get them down to size to post.

Pretty Dramatic!  Maybe he can tell us about them.  I can figure out how he got them from his back door in Kansas!  ???

Appears to be out at sea when it was still a category 5.  Is that an oil tanker?  Musta been a lot of rain in Kansas.   :D

You know the more I think about it,
Why would you have your ship pointed in that direction, I would think you'd be high tailing it the other way.

They just pointed the ship that way to get a good picture.   :D

:o :o  Guys, My Bride, the resident weather analyst, just said those pics are fake. They were shown on the Weather Channel, and verified to be "make overs".  Believe me, if the storm was that close to that tanker, there would be 30+ foot seas.  Sorry to rain on Y'all's parade. :-[

Well durn Harold,

I didn't intenionally put phony pics on here. I always assume things are genuine and I am sure my E mail freind did too. And then I involved poor Bibby. Looks like I was had.
I sorry......

Looks to me like the photo's are real... I just dont think they are of a hurricane. I'd guess they are shots of pretty mean thunderstorms, so lets just call em 'weather pictures'  ;)

Weather they are real or not they still are nice pictures.
I would not like being near where that sky line would be.

I set the boat pic as my background pic. I love storms, not the big ones that wreck things but the ones where there's lots of wind and rain.
When we were living on the gulf islands of B.C I looked forward to the storms that we had, it was fun walking along the beach and having the waves crash down on the shores and coming home soaking wet 8) Sure do miss those days :-[
