Hi all,

Just thought i would bring up the subject of the old range forestor machines, the 150, tom sawyer and 900 resaw and rolling table versions and more.
I guess some folks might be finding it hard to come by parts these days for these machines, well i would like people to know that i cover all these parts, made from original drawings at time of manufacture. so if any one is stuck for parts or need advice please contact me, i am an ex forestor engineer so i have worked exstensivly on these machines....i hope i can help any one.
This isnt an advert, just an informative post to help those with these kind of machines, help is avalible!

cheers

Hi Frank and G day chris,
I hold all the original Forestor drawings for the old machines and being an ex fitter engineer myself have worked on them, if you go to my web site you can see the pics of the range www.westtec.co.uk
We are looking at building the F150 again to order that will cut 5' dia logs with full hydralic elevation and drive, lots more modifications will be added, but it will retain its original look and robust design.
We are still working on the costings for this one!
We are considering the other models, but again this will be to order.
I supply parts to any Forestor machines all over the world and have customers located in Autralia, new zealand, africa, etc who have had parts already, there is nothing i can not supply for these machines and advice is also avalible to problem solve should it be the case.
If i can be of help, drop me a e mail or fax

Cheers guys

Jim

I sure misread the title to this thread!  I thought it said, "Where to get Old Forest Ranger parts".

Glad I was wrong. It was sounding like something that Ron Scot and Texas Ranger would be enquiring of the new Healthcare legislation. :D

Just a quick note, we have updated our web site and now have some good pics of the Tom sawyers of customers who have them here in the UK, also with the usual pics of the mischief we can not resist in the woods in our photo gallery.
